As we celebrate this Valentine’s weekend in Gozo, the National Blood Transfusion Service has asked the public to think of others who are in need of blood through transfusions, particularly those suffering from any form of cancer.

With this in mind, please consider donating blood during a session tomorrow, Sunday, the 16th of February, at the District Health Centre in Xewkija, between 8:00am to 1:00pm (last registration until 1:00pm).

In Gozo, the donation centre is located at the Xewkija Clinic, in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.

The Service reminds everyone that it is important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
