2 fined for breaking quarantine no establishments breached regulationsIn the past 24-hours, 470 inspections were carried out in Malta and 160 in Gozo on food and drinking establishments.

No breaches of regulations were found. The police were also called to break up groups of 5 people or more who were gathered in public.

524 inspections for mandatory quarantine have been carried out around Malta and Gozo.

Police, together with the Department of Health and the Civil Protection Department, found two individuals breaking the law and these were fined €3,000 each.

Authorities once again reminded that everyone should be responsible and cooperate with the directives that are being issued.

      What were they DOING?
      Were they merely stupid? Or was there some desperate excuse?
