3 more patients recovered from Covid-19, not yet the time to relax measuresDeputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health Chris Fearne announced on Sunday evening that 3 more patients have recovered from the Covid-19 virus, bringing the total to 5, however he said that it is not yet the time to relax measures.

The 3 are a 12-year old girl, a 55-year old man and a 23-year old woman. Patients are declared to be fully recovered after having 2 negative tests in 24-hours.

The Government said that “the present spread of Covid-19 cases is under control as it was during the last few weeks. The increase in case rates has remained stable.”

It explained that the curve has also “continued to increase, but slowly, and is giving the health authorities the chance to attend to all Coronavirus patients in order to cure them.”

This is confirmed by the state of health of Covid-19 patients in hospital, the Government said. “The present state does not mean that we should relax the measures put into force by the health authorities nor our personal behaviour.”

“It is important that we continue to be disciplined, cooperate with directives given, and take care of both our health and those of others.”
