At the KU Club in Victoria on Saturday , Gozitan singer Alessia launched her first CD Single. The audience that packed the KU Club for this performance gave an enthusiastic reception to the new single.

The CD is entitled ‘Spotlight’, the lyrics are penned by the young author Paul Clinton and the music is composed by Elton Zarb.

The singer Alessia started her singing career at the tender age of ten years. In the last six years she has gained experience in the musical field throughout Gozo and Malta, Alessia describes this period as one of great joy and satisfaction.

In the last five years, the organizers saw the potential in Alessia as she participated in many activities such as the Nadur Wine Festival, Beer Festival, Gozo 1234, Seher il-Punent and Notte Bianca. Another memorable event for Alessia was being invited to give a live performance on Christmas Day at the Cornucopia Hotel in Xaghra.

Alessia also performs regularly at the Adult Training Center in Ghajnsielem, entertaining persons with special needs.
