The Projectnews team has raised around €3000 in aid of the Puttinu Cares, the charity which helps children who are suffering from cancer, which is currently paying for apartments it purchased in the UK for the relatives of children who are sent over to the UK for treatment.

The funds were raised during a fair including books, food and beverages, stationery, plants, gifts and carwash, organized last Sunday, the 22nd of March, at Mater Dei Hospital, by the group of children who form the Projectnews team.

This activity was held with the help of several sponsors: Intervision Ltd, Segway Malta, GDL – Local Distributors for Dadi Star, Smart Office Supplies Ltd Qormi, the book The Haunted Mansion, Wardija Water Supplies, Maypole, Spiterifashions.com, Zammit Gardens and Nursery Santa Venera, Radisson Baypoint, Capital Radio, General Softdrinks, James Caterers, Agenda Bookshops u Papillon Caterers.

Projectnews, a TV programme which deals with news and current affairs from a different perspective…from the children’s view, is aired on Wednesdays at 4.30 p.m. with a repeat on Saturdays at 10.30 a.m. on TVM and is presented by a team made up of 16 children.
