An emergency fund, amounting to €125,000 has been launched for voluntary organisations that have been negatively affected by Covid-19.

Led by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector, it means that every voluntary organisation may be given a sum of up to €5,000.

The MCVS explained that the fund is aimed at aiding organisations whose operations are related to, and essential for, the Covid-19 pandemic, and to help them out so that they do not fold.

Voluntary organisations have until the end of July to apply on www.vofunding.org.mt
