A 37-year-old Italian man from Nadur was seriously injured when he lost control of his motorbike and fell off.

Police said that the incident happened at around 6pm on Sunday afternoon in Triq il-Kuncizzjoni, Qala, the man had been riding a Keeway Cityblade.

He was taken to the Gozo General hospital, where he was later certified as suffering from serious injuries.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
