A Presbyteral and Diaconal Ordination is taking place place on Friday, the 19th of June, Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, starting at 5.30pm, on the Parvis of the National Sanctuary of Our Lady of Ta’ Pinu.

The Diocese in a statement said that, H.L. Mgr Mario Grech, Apostolic Administrator for the Gozo Diocese, will lead the Sacred Ordination of;

Mario Mercieca from the Cathedral of the Assumption Victoria, to the Presbyterate,

Andrew Grima from San Lawrenz Parish, to the Diaconate, and

Fra Etienne Gilson, Conventual Franciscan (from Birkirkara), to the Diaconate

In preparation for the Ordination, a Prayer Vigil will take place on Thursday, the 13th of June, at 8.00pm, at the Major Seminary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Victoria.
