A 32 year old Albanian was arraigned in the Gozo Court where he was accused of sexually harassing a woman without her consent last Sunday evening at an establishment in Triq Gostra, Xlendi.
The man, who lives in Xlendi, was also charged with committing the act in a public place and saying obscene words in public. Police said that the incident happened at around 11.20pm.
He admitted to the charges and was remanded in custody to await sentencing.
The prosecution was led by Inspector Josef Gauci and the Gozo court was presided by Magistrate Brigitte Sultana.
