Last Sunday the Gozo Rocks! Clean & Green Hike covered the area ta’ Simar, Dahlet Qorrot and San Blas. Organiser Louis Debattista said that a small, international and very dedicated group, collected 23 bags of rubbish and recyclables, including tyres.

Louis thanked everyone for taking part and helping. There will be no hike this Sunday, the 21st of February. Gozo Greyhounds Cycling Team will be in Malta competing in a bike race and representing Gozo. “Louis said If there are any kids who want to join our Club (Gozo Greyhounds) for a bike ride, we go out on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings and sometimes during the week as well. We also run together at the horse track in Xewkija and on the roads of Gozo.”

Next Sunday the 28th, will be the last hike for a while as Louis is back off to the USA. “I will be posting again when I return home and hope people connect again,” said Louis.
