1 new Covid-19 case has been recorded, which is an imported one, the Health Authorities have said.
The affected person experienced symptoms days after returning to Malta from abroad and contact tracing is now underway.
There are now 4 active cases. 848 swab tests were taken in the past 24-hours.There have been no new recoveries. The total number of swabs taken since the start being 112,403.
675 Covid-19 cases have been recorded in total, with 662 recovered and there have been 9 deaths.
Health Authorities said that for any queries regarding symptoms, or to make an appointment at one of the swabbing centres, please call 111. All 3 swabbing centres are open daily Monday to Sunday, including the 1 in Gozo.
