The Malta Chamber of Pharmacists has said today that its dispute is still in force, while “retaining the right to issue further directives to pharmacists.”
It said that this follows yesterday’s announcement of Covid-19 measures by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and the Superintendent for Public Health, while also taking note of the comments of its frontline colleagues MAM and MUMN.
The Chamber said that it is “dissatisfied with the Government’s response to all its professional social partners where, regrettably, in acting against the most critical public health emergency of our lifetimes, guidelines regarding the safety of our nation could be based not on the best scientific data available, but on political considerations.”
