The Superintendent of Public Health Prof Charmaine Gauci, will, from tomorrow, be giving weekly television updates on the Covid-19 situation in Malta and Gozo.

With the numbers of positive cases rising on a daily basis over the past week or so, their had been calls from the public on for her to return with her live broadcasts.

Prof Gauci last gave live updates 2 months ago and since then the health authorities have been providing the daily figures via social media.

The live broadcasts will be every Friday at 12.30pm
