An 82-year old woman has died while being positive with Covid-19, she is the 33rd person to die with the virus.

In a statement on Monday evening, The Ministry for Health said that the woman tested positive for Covid-19 on the 17th of September and continued to be cared for in the elderly home where she lived, which is where she died earlier today.

The Ministry said that the woman “had underlying other health conditions.”

The Health Ministry, while offering its condolences to the patient’s family, reiterated its appeal for the public to continue to follow the public health guidelines, including frequent hand washing, social distancing and wearing a mask.
