A 56-year old man from Gharb was arraigned in the Gozo Court today, charged with grievously injuring another man.

Police said that the incident happened at around 6:15pm on Saturday, during which a 62-year old man sustained grievous injuries, as well as damage to personal effects.

The 56-year old pleaded not guilty to the charges and was given a probation order subject to conditions.

The prosecution was led by Inspector Josef Gauci.
