Public talks which are hosted at Il-Hagar museum in Gozo are to be resumed, starting next month.
Malta’s premier cemetery, the Addolorata, is being highlighted in this talk through the participation of Mario Borg, Dr Mark Sagona and Prof Conrad Thake, authors of a new detailed study about it.
The first in this welcome return of public talks, which is being held in collaboration with the University of Malta’s Department of Art and Art History and Midsea Books, will also be live-streamed.
Entrance is free, however booking on events@heartofgozo.org.mt is recommended. Current restrictions mean that places will be limited, the museum said.
Copies of “The Addolorata Cemetery” (well over two hundred richly-illustrated pages) will be available at a special price.
The Addolorata, Malta’s Monument to its Dead, is on Saturday, the 14th of November, at 10.30am, hosted by Il-Hagar Museum, St George’s Square, Victoria, Gozo.
