The Health Ministry has advised that another three elderly people have died while being positive with Covid-19. The number of lives lost to the virus now stands at 81.

The Ministry in a statement, said that in the first case, a 79-year-old man was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on the 1st of November. He passed away yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.

The second case is an 87-year-old man who tested positive for Covid-19 on the 3rd of November and passed away earlier today at Mater Dei.

The third person to die is a 75-year old man who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on the 6th of November and also passed away earlier today at Mater Dei.

The Ministry of Health, said that while offering its condolences to the relatives of the families, it once again calls on the people to continue to follow the preventive measures so that “together we can make a difference against the progression of the Covid-19.”
