The legal notice issued last month to close bars and kazini until the 1st of December is going to be extended for the next few weeks as a precaution against Covid-19.

This was announced this morning by Prime Minister Robert Abela while addressing the press, he added that it is unlikely that they will reopen before the end of December.

The Prime Minister explained that the decision had been very “difficult,” and came about following consultation with the Health Minister Chris Fearne, that they decided it would be wiser and more prudent for the legal notice to be extended for the next few weeks.
