Gozitans Andrea Britton and Keith Anthony have released their new Christmas single – Sing Out Yourself .
The song is now available for download from all good online music stores for €1 and every euro received will go towards funding – Backdoor Jam – a new Gozo-based performance series project.
Andrea and Keith are both residents of Qala, and Mayor Paul Buttigieg is asking for all to support this great initiative from two local residents.
They said that the pandemic has brought the entertainment industry to a halt and there are many casualties that rely heavily on performing live so they can support themselves and their families.
Andrea and Keith explained that this single will support the forthcoming Backdoor Jam which will be twofold for local performers.
“Firstly it will offer necessary paid work to local artists, and secondly it will broadcast and promote their performances worldwide,” they said.
The first show will be broadcast on Youtube on the 21st of December.
