Three further Covid deaths announced, 190 lives now lost to the virus

Three more patients have died while being positive with Covid-19, the Health Ministry has said, with the number of lives lost to the virus now at 190.
The first person was an 86-year old woman, who tested positive for Covid-19 on the 8th of December and passed away yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
The second person was a 69-year old man who was also confirmed positive for the virus 1st of December and passed away yesterday at the Good Samaritan Long-Term Facility.
The third case was an 87-year-old woman who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on the 15th of December, she passed away yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives of the families, called on the public to continue to follow the preventive measures “so that we can protect the most vulnerable in our society” – This includes wearing of masks, social distancing and hand hygiene.
