Day Sannat
On Tuesday the 28th of April, the Sannat Local Council celebrated Sannat Day in the okkazzajoni of the Prize sake Sannat serata folkloric time with participation of folklore groups and Sinnet Of Seguna.Din is serata held in the open at Road 28 April 1688 at 8.30 pm For this prize residents of Sannat designated six persons were Mr Francis Cassar, lx Superior of the MUSEUM John Xerri, Mr George Azzopardi, Mr Azzopardi Kelinu (ghaddux us today), the Paul Vella and Mons. Lawrence Sciberras.
The winner of the 2009 Sannat sake was assigned to two nominees.
John Xerri Superior of the branch of the MUSEUM of the Boys of Sannat that valuable contribution both in the social formation, as well as moral children and young people of the locality of Sannat attendees for his knowledge and for his personal sagrefficji to construct the MUSEUM, monument created for the Christian teachings.
Kelinu Azzopardi who raised the name of the village of Sannat where work enters pyrotechnic displays and fire.Day Sannat

Kelinu Azzopardi who raised the name of the village of Sannat where work enters pyrotechnic displays and fire.President of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) Mr Henri Malosse and Head of ESSC Ms Birgit Fular accompanied by Ms Silvia Gauci met Chris Said Parliamentary Secretary for Public Dialogue and Information, at the Grand Hotel, Imgarr, Gozo and discussed the objective of their visit to the island of Gozo.
During their stay in Gozo they also met the Gozo Regional Committee (MCESD) to discuss the specificities of the island and shared views of similar experiences in other island regions.
The programme also included visits to the Gozo University Centre, Ta’ Mena Estate and the factory of Magro Brothers. While in Gozo they also had the opportunity to meet representatives from the Financial Sector.
