The Airport Shuttle Bus Service has now ceased operations and Gozo Channel and Malta International Airport passengers now need to utilise the services offered by maltatransfer.com which were announced in January.

This service is offering airport to hotel transfers as well as a service between Malta International Airport and the Gozo Ferry Terminal at Cirkewwa. Journeys have to be pre-booked at least 24 hours prior to the date of travel.

If you require a transfer inside 24 hours, you can book your transfer on arrival in Malta at the maltatransfer.com booking office in the luggage reclaim area. If you are already in Malta and want to book a departure transfer inside 24 hours, you can call maltatransfer.com on 00356 79646481 and they say they will do their best to accommodate your requirements.

The price for journeys between the Cirkewwa Ferry Terminal and the Airport is €8 one-way or €16 return. For residents of Gozo the price is €7 one-way or €14 return.

Other ticket prices vary according to which hotel you are transferring to. Children pay the regular fare and infants (2 years and under) travel for free.

Each passenger is allowed one suitcase and one hand baggage, any additional items must be notified at the time of booking and will incur an extra charge.
