Triq ir-Ramla and the surrounding area in Nadur is being repaired and tarmacked through funding of around €600,000.
Minister for Gozo, Clint Camilleri, visited the ongoing works on Triq Dun Anton Tabone and Triq ir-Ramla, Nadur, where tarmac is being laid after the old surface was removed and the roads rebuilt.
The Minister said that at a cost of around €600,000, work on the kilometre length of roads consisted of changing services including sewerage and water systems, as well as the building of new storm water culverts.
He explained how, “roads in Gozo where necessary, are not simply tarmacked but are being dismantled and rebuilt in order to have the best level of infrastructure on the island.”
Nadur Mayor Edward Said thanked Minister Clint Camilleri for the much needed work carried out, adding that his aim is to “continue working hand in hand with the Minister for the good of Nadur.”
Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri concluded by thanking the workers and promised that in the year 2021 they will “continue with the infrastructural agenda of road reconstruction.”
New Roads without infrastructure improvements like electric under ground ,gas lines and so on. Clint has absolutely no vision for Gozo future.
