The Gozo Motocross Association, already renowned for its FunRaces, has said that “for the first time ever in Motocross, it will be organising the GMA Mx Relay Race.”

The GMA explained that, typically, Motocross is an individual sport, where riders strive to be successful on an individual scale. However, this will be something exciting and different for the riders, because it will encourage teamwork.

This coming Sunday, the 24th of January at 1:00pm, the riders will be grouped in four teams. The GMA said that each team, marked by a particular colour, will consist of 4 or 5 riders. Every team member who comes in first will place their respective team at an advantage. Kids racing will also take place.

The Association said that this event is closed to the general public. A special pass is needed to enter the premises. Entry is by registrations, closing tomorrow, Thursday, the 21st of January, 5pm.
