The Diocese of Gozo, in a brief statement on Sunday evening, has expressed its “disapproval” and also “disassociated itself from any religious activity which has been, or may be organised outside and which does not respect the measures of the Authorities to protect public health.”

The Diocese added that it “continues to encourage parishes, communities and religious entities to protect people’s health by always taking all the necessary precaution in every situation.”
