Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health Chris Fearne and Opposition Health Spokesman Stephen Spiteri, this morning received the vaccine against Covid-19.

Speaking afterwards, the Health Minister appealed to everyone to trust science and not superstition, and to have the vaccine when it is their time to take it.

For those who have already had the vaccine, Dr Fearne urged them to continue to observe all measures in place to help curb the spread of the virus.

Stephen Spiteri reiterated what the Health Minister had said, by urging everyone to trust in the vaccine and take it when they have the opportunity.

Minister Fearne also explained that as from tomorrow pharmacists and staff in pharmacies in the community will start to be vaccinated, while letters with vaccine appointment will be sent out to those aged between 80 and 85..
