Vaccinations for people with chronic illnesses from Mid-February

From next week people with chronic illnesses will start receiving letters for a Covid-19 vaccination appointment.
Minister for Health Chris Fearne announced that as soon as the AstraZeneca vaccine arrives, which is due on Sunday, the vaccination programme of appointments will begin from mid-February.
Malta will only be administering the vaccine to those aged between 18 and 55. The Health Minister explained that there were not enough studies at this time to know the vaccine efficacy rate for the older population
