€120,000 Meeting Hub project launched for Gharb families

A project for a meeting hub for Gharb locals has been launched, financed though a grant of €120,000 in European funds.

The project was launched by Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri, together with the Parliamentary Secretary for European Funds Stefan Zrinzo Azzopardi.

Minister Camilleri said the aim of the meeting hub is to carry out social and recreational activities aimed at helping young people and their families reach their full potential.

He explained that this will be done through a varied selection of educational sessions that will be offered at the centre.

Parliamentary Secretary Stefan Zrinzo Azzopardi explained that this project is being financed under measure 4 – Rejuvenating Gozo – through an investment of €120,000 with European funds from the LEADER programme administered by the Gozo Action Group Foundation.

The beneficiaries of the project funding are the Gharb Local Council, the Ghaqda Muzikali Vizitazzjoni of Gharb and Pauliana Said – Accountancy and Tax Consultants.
