A virtual meeting between Minister for Research, Innovation and the Co-ordination of Post Covid-19 Strategy Owen Bonnici and the Confederation of Maltese Trade unions For.U.M. discussed the ongoing process in the coordination of a post Covid-19 strategy.

For.U.M. is a confederation of Maltese Trade Unions incorporating 13,000 members representing workers from a variety of professions and trades.

During the meeting, For.U.M. raised a number of themes which it views as important in the context of this strategy.

Minister Bonnici explained that the strategy will be unveiled before the end of the second quarter of the current year, and said that an integral part of the whole endeavour will be consultation with the main stakeholders.

He went on to say that the strategy will give priority not only to the economic aspect, but also to the social aspect, within the context of green and digital transitions which are on the forefront of our national agenda.
