The new Vaccination Centre located at the rear of the Aurora Theatre in Victoria, opened this afternoon.
Allocated parking is available in the nearby football ground and Transport Malta officials will be on hand to regulate traffic and assist those on arrival for appointments.
The Foundation for Medical Services said that it was tasked with converting a hall into a Vaccination Hub, and also put a ramp in place to ensure accessibility to all.
It said that the venue has been fully equipped, including 6 Vaccination Booths and over 40, spaced out seats in the waiting area.
The Foundation for Medical Services explained that its team managed this in just 5 days.
The Foundation expressed its thanks to the Aurora Theatre management as well as to the Ministry for Gozo for their cooperation.
Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri said that “from next Friday we will start an extensive and expedited vaccination programme for all Gozitans.”
