President George Abela paid a reciprocal courtesy visit to Bishop Mgr. Mario Grech at the Bishop’s Curia in Victoria. The President also met with Mgr. Nicholas Cauchi, Bishop Emeritus for Gozo, Bishop Grech’s staff and other members of the Gozo Diocese.

1. GO, Malta’s leading quad-play telecoms provider, officially inaugurated its latest quad-play retail outlet situated in Republic Street, Victoria Gozo offering customers mobile, fixed telephony, broadband Internet and television services – all from under one roof. The outlet was extensively refurbished and modernised bringing it in line with GO’s quad-play image.
The new outlet was officially inaugurated by Minister for Gozo Giovanna Debono, GO’s Chief Executive Officer David Kay and GO’s Chief Operations Officer Norbert Prihoda.
2. John Xerri and Kelinu Azzopardi were awarded ‘Gieh Sannat’ for thier contribution towards the development of the Sannat community particularly the MUSEUM and their voluntary work at the Sannat parish.
