The Gozo NGOs Association is in the process of drawing up a position paper about the state of planning in Gozo – Overdevlopment and unsustainable development in Gozo.

In its paper the Association said that it will also be proposing a number of solutions.

The paper is being drawn up in consultation with its more than one hundred member organisations, the Gozo NGOs Association said.

It explained that when finalised, the said position paper, together with other sectorial position papers, will be utilised to draw up a unified Gozo Regional Committee (GRC) position, which will, in turn, be delivered to Minister for the Environment Aaron Farrugia, during a Gozo Regional Development Agency meeting.

The Association said that the draft paper has already been presented during last week’s GRC meeting.
