Gharb Local Council is organising a project aimed at supporting and maintaining the stray cats which are around the locality, with some of them already concentrated in identified areas.

The Council explained that this – LC Care Project – will include the supply of ‘Cat Food’ and ‘Cat Neutering’ vouchers for stray cats only.

For this purpose, those registered as cat feeders and whose names appear in the local Gharb electoral register are asked to express their interest by registering at the Council by no later than Friday, the 23rd of April at noon.

This project is being carried out together and supported almost entirely by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Animal Rights Anton Refalo, the Council said.
