Whilst at the departures lounge on Tuesday, AMLT Customs officials were alerted by Charlie’s Canine handler of potential cash on a passenger, who was escorted to the Customs office for further inspections.
Upon carrying out searches on the Egyptian passenger’s luggage and personal belongings, a total of €11,290. The passenger received an on-the-spot-fine.
Customs said that even though the Covid situation took its toll on the passenger traffic through the airport, Customs officials from the Canine and the AMLT section remain extremely active at our borders, and positive cases regarding undeclared cash continue to be registered in a constant manner.
Well this will soon be Charlie’s last few sniffs for fiat currencies since our Maltese Government has signed us all up (without informing us or our concent) to the Globalist Covid agenda, which is designed to transition everyone to the NWO digital money and social control system.
