Melita have announced that the winner of the Champions League Final competition, Richard Magri, will be flying to Rome to watch the coveted Champions League Final on Wednesday, the 27th of May.

The winner of the competition, Richard Magri, now the envy of thousands of football fans, will be flying to Rome to watch Barcelona and Manchester United battle it out in the Champions League Final.

Richard Magri and his guest received flights and accommodation in Rome, access to the “Champions Village” Hospitality area and 2 free tickets to the Champions League final match on 27th May, which will be broadcast LIVE on Melita Sports from 7.45pm.

This competition was organised by Melita, offering a once in a life time opportunity for one lucky viewer and a guest to watch the Champions League Final match. Participants had to send an SMS with the name of the team who they thought would make it to the Final. Mr Magri’s prediction that Manchester United would make it to the Finals made him eligible to win. His name was then randomly chosen live during the Melita Sports program Focus Champions and he answered correctly to the question asked.

The competition winner, Richard Magri said, “I can’t believe my luck! The UEFA Champions League matches continue in July commencing with the all the Third Round Qualifying and Playoffs action followed by the Group Stages. For the first time ever the rebranded UEFA Cup, now UEFA Europa League will be broadcast live and exclusive in its entirety on Melita Sports starting this August with the playoffs.
