No new Covid-19 cases, Health Minister urges discipline and responsibilityHealth Minister Chris Fearne has advised on Twitter that, today is the first time zero positive Covid-19 cases have been recorded since last summer – 25th of July. He also warned that “it is essential that we maintain discipline and and a sense of responsibility.”

As from today, more Covid-19 measures are being relaxed – bars and clubs can open until midnight, however customers need to be seated; cinemas, theatres, summer schools, betting shops and casinos are also be allowed to open. Contact sports for over 17s also resume today.

Groups of 6 people are now allowed in public and tables of 6 people in restaurants, snack bars, bars and clubs are also allowed.
