Nationalist Party Spokesperson for Gozo Chris Said, has today reiterated some of the proposals launched last week which are directly related to health care in Gozo.

The PN has pledged to ensure that Gozitan patients receive their chemotherapy in Gozo.

The Party said that its “vision for excellent health services in Gozo” include that, “in its first six months, a Nationalist Government is committed to increase the range of chemotherapy services offered at the Gozo General Hospital and, in close collaboration with the Oncology Hospital in Malta, ensure that all chemotherapy services that can possibly be made available on the island, start becoming so.”

“A Nationalist government would also introduce a new MRI service at the Gozo General Hospital in its first six months,” said Dr Said. “Having to send Gozitan patients to Malta for an MRI service in this day and age should no longer be accepted.”
