Enemalta has said that in view of heatwave that has hit the Maltese Islands it is postponing all maintenance works that are regularly scheduled on its distribution system, with the exception of those considered to be essential.

The company said that all of its engineers and technicians have been deployed to carry out emergency repairs where needed.

“In order to minimise public inconvenience, it has been decided that the schedule of regular maintenance works in the coming days will be revised and only essential work will be carried out,” Enemalta said

A revised list will be issued accordingly, the company said.
