Corpus Christi Church, in Ghasri, has for years been without a lightning protection system on the church building.

However this summer, parishioners worked together to acquire the funds, and with the help of the Ministry for Gozo, the necessary works were carried out to protect this Church.

During a visit to the church, Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri said that, “churches are not just a place for religious purposes, but also the historical and cultural heritage of our island.”
