A 43-year old man from Ghajnsielem suffered grievous injuries after falling while working at a construction site in Xewkija on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said that the incident happened at around 2pm at a site on Triq l-Imgarr when the man fell a height of around one and a half storeys.

A medical team assisted the man at the scene before he was taken to the Gozo General Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
