A Gozo University Group (GUG) delegation, led by its President Owen Teuma recently met with officials from the Gozo NGOs Association.

The Association said that the meeting provided the opportunity to explore ways of how to deal with matters of mutual interest.

Topics discussed included the need for the GUG and the Gozo NGOs Association to coordinate their respective positions within the Gozo Regional Council, and the possibility of organising joint activities in order to promote Gozitan youth activism, especially in the increasingly challenging times.

The Council of the Gozo NGOs Association said that it “admired the GUG for being a constant voice for Gozitan youths attending tertiary level educational institution” and wished the newly elected GUG Executive every success in the coming term.
