St Joseph the Silent Witness – is the title of a temporary exhibition opening this month at Il-Hagar Museum in Gozo.
The Bishop of Gozo Mgr Anton Teuma will be inaugurating the exhibition which is being held to mark the end of the special year recommended by Pope Francis on the sesquicentenary of the declaration of St Joseph as Patron of the Universal Church.
The inauguration is taking place on Sunday, the 17th of October. Visitors will be able to view a wide assortment of statues and paintings (including bozzettos) until the end of November during the normal opening hours of 9am to 5pm, Sunday to Saturday. Entrance remains free.
St Joseph the Silent Witness is accompanied with another full colour publication in the Il-Hagar GEMS series (#14). Besides reproductions of the exhibits from both private and public collections, this includes interesting write ups.
The museum said that “thanks are due for the support and collaboration received.”
Il-Hagar is located in St George’s Square, Victoria.
