HSBC Bank Malta has said that the first 2,000 customers who download its Mobile Banking application and register for this free service for the first time by the 30th of November will receive €5 into their account by then end December 2021.

The Bank said that by using the HSBC Mobile app, customers can check their account balances, track their account transactions, move money with ease, and send money to saved payees in just a few seconds.

After a recent update to the app, the Bank explained that users can enjoy an improved user interface layout and a new, in-depth search functionality.

Additionally, it said that online card transactions can now be authenticated through the mobile app making mobile payments simpler whilst enhancing security.

The application comes with state-of-the-art security functions: users can log on with Apple Touch, Face ID, Android Fingerprint as well as with unique security devices if their phones are compatible.
