The participants were provided information on the business and technological aspects of the personal health portal of Malta. A presentation showing the process involved was demonstrated to the participants.

The vast range of features (e.g. Laboratory results, radiology reports, electronic case summaries and immunisation history, upcoming appointments, SMS & Email notifications) are very important especially for the ageing population living in rural and remote areas since these will be easily available online.

It was explained to those present that this portal is constantly upgraded and updated to provide high quality health services to all citizens despite their age and place of living. At the moment, it experienced a surge in usage by citizens to view their Covid-19 test results.https://gozo.news/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/MGOZ_logo.jpgPharmacy of your choice – Collection of free medications from local pharmacies in rural areas
