The Gozo Business Chamber has offered its congratulations to Dr Roberta Metsola on her election this week as President of the European Parliament.

The Chamber said that the European Union is not only a guarantee of stability and peace among European countries, but also offers a way forward on what we as a block of countries want to achieve.

“In this context the European Parliament offers an important space of dialogue for all the elected representatives to voice their concerns and scrutinise important legislation which will affect all European citizens,” it said.
