Two men, aged 86 and 93, and an 88-year old woman have passed away in the last 24 hours while Covid-19 positive, authorities have said.

There were 169 new Covid-19 cases found overnight and 327 recoveries, which now takes the number of active cases in Malta and Gozo down to 2,972.

There are 100 patients requiring treatment in Mater Dei Hospital (which is the only hospital being reported) including 4 who are in ITU.

There have been 550 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The number of booster doses administered up until yesterday have not been updated and is still showing 329,806.
