The San Lawrenz Local Council has strongly condemned what it describes as “the act of vandalism against humanity” that took place during last week on the road leading to Dwejra.

The Council in a statement said that during last year, together with the Smart Light Company Co Ltd, manufacturers of traffic road safety signs, it installed interactive signs to avoid any fatal accident that may be caused on the dark road leading down to Dwejra .

While the Council condemns this barbaric act, it is appealing to anyone who can provide any information to assist the Local Council in taking the necessary steps.

It said that in the meantime, the Smart Light Co. Ltd is working to return this service to normal.
