A 46-year old woman has passed away during the last 24 hours while Covid positive, authorities said.

There were 90 new Covid-19 cases found overnight and 91 recoveries, which now takes the number of active cases in Malta and Gozo down to 763.

There are 50 patients requiring treatment in Mater Dei Hospital including 3 who are in ITU(figures for Gozo General Hospital have not been updated) .

There have been 599 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The number of booster doses administered up until yesterday is 341,054.
