The Gozo Motocross Association quarter finals have been held at Ta Xhajma Motocross Track.

In Class A, Steve Xuereb achieved maximum points for first place, followed by David Dimech on his Honda CRM450cc. Mario Cauchi was third.

GMA said that 14 year old Biuren Grima was once again at the top of his game, although he was beaten by Joseph Bigeni at the third heat. Bigeni came in second followed by veteran Robert Spiteri who, as always is at his opponents’ heels.

Veteran John Attard achieved first place. GMA said that despite his slight mishap at the beginning of the third heat, Michael Vonbrockdorff managed to secure second place followed by championship leader in Class C, Joseph Gauci.

In Class D, Antoni Said enjoyed his second podium of the season, with a win in all three heats. Gary Bartolo achieved second place, while Young Jake Camilleri came in third.

In the junior class, were Trystn Theuma, Diego Panza, Matthias Sultana, Craig Piscopo and Ike Zarb.

Mr Michael Vonbrockdorff, presented trophies to the winners, while the youngsters were given a memento for the day.

The GMA semi-finals,will take place on Sunday, the 10th of April.
