The Gozo Regional Carnival – a special edition programme, organised by the National and Regional Celebrations Committee, has been launched by Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri.

The Gozo Minister said that he is sure that this special edition will be a successful one and thanked the National and Regional Celebrations Committee as well as the Culture Section within the Directorate for Cultural Heritage for the organisation of the carnival events..

Minister Camilleri also thanked the volunteers for their dedication and time in the preparations for this celebration of colourful costumes, floats, dance, music and much more, which in itself is a showcase of Gozitan talent.

Mons. Dr. Joseph Vella Gauci, Chairman of the National and Regional Celebrations Committee, said that despite the difficulties of the pandemic, the committee has remained committed to organising a Carnival for the past two years.
